Having a boat day is the perfect way to enjoy breath-taking views and spend some quality time with friends and family. However, having a successful boat day requires more than just a boat and some people. Here are the essentials you need when having a boat day.

1. The Ideal Vehicle:

Rent a boat to enjoy the best way exploring open waters and it’s much more convenient than buying one. Renting boats usually come with life jackets, making them a great choice for safety.

2. A Supply of Food and Drinks:

Pack plenty of snacks and drinks to keep everyone energized and hydrated throughout the day. Try to pick snacks that won’t spoil in the heat and bring a cooler with ice packs.

3. Life Jackets:

Make sure you have enough life jackets for everyone onboard. Many boat rentals include them, but it’s a good idea to double-check.

4. Other Safety Gear:

Bring along a whistle, fire extinguisher, and first aid kit in case of emergency. It’s also important to know the safety rules for being on the water.

5. Navigation:

Bring a GPS or navigation device so you don’t get lost while out on the open water. It’s also a great idea to research the area before getting out on the boat.

6. Entertainment:

Bring along a Bluetooth speaker and some of your favourite tunes to have the perfect soundtrack to your boat day.

7. Aftercare:

After a sunny day on the open water, your skin can get sunburnt, and your hair can become dry. Bring along skin moisturizers, ABIB skincare, aloe vera gel and a hat to protect yourself from the sun.

By having the essentials, you can have a successful and safe boat day with friends and family!  Enjoy your time out on the open waters!
