Earlier in the week, Mobility services company DMI announced the acquisition of Pragiti, a systems, applications, and products commerce cloud services provider.
This acquisition reportedly expands DMI’s business into next-gen digital commerce capabilities.
According to a spokesperson of DMI, “through this acquisition, the company has added 200 new employees worldwide, increasing its ability to provide clients with a global delivery model and its international footprint.”
Additionally, the acquisition of the Pragiti brand also enables DMI to expand into Santa Clara, California, situating the company near various technology partners from Silicon Valley.
Speaking on the announcement, Jay Sunny Bajaj, Founder of DMI said, “The Pragiti acquisition bolsters DMI’s ability to accelerate our clients’ business transformation through the digitization of their business model.”
Bajaj also said that the acquisition of Pragiti will also increase DMI’s ability to drive customer engagement across business-to-customer, business-to-business, and business-to-business-to-consumer organizations.
According to the founder of DMI, “Pragiti’s track record of satisfied customers and successful implementations in SAP Commerce Cloud adds to our existing expertise across the other leading commerce platforms, including Salesforce, Oracle, and Adobe/Magento.”
DMI also added that it would be adding full-service digital agency, scaled agile application development, next-gen consulting, and managed services to its brand.
As per reports, Pragiti’s CEO Praveen Pahwa was extremely honored to get acquired by a company like DMI in such a digital transformation market.
In a statement, Pahwa said, “This acquisition allows us to be an even more strategic partner to our clients, giving us the expanded capabilities DMI brings to help clients successfully navigate today’s digital economy challenges.”
